Huron Township, MI (July 12, 2026) – A 13-year-old boy died on Thursday night, July 9, after being struck by a vehicle while riding an e-bike in the 18000 block of Huron River Drive in Huron Township, according to police.
Authorities said first responders arrived after receiving reports of the collision and attempted lifesaving measures, but the child was pronounced dead at the scene. Police reported that the 17-year-old driver involved remained at the location and cooperated with investigators.
Officials have not released additional information regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
