Detroit, MI (March 28, 2026) – A woman was killed on Friday, March 27, after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash on the Lodge Freeway, according to Michigan State Police.
The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes near Clairmount. When troopers arrived, they found multiple vehicles stopped, and several people gathered around a severely injured woman.
Authorities confirmed that the woman died at the scene. Her identity has not yet been released.
