Detroit, MI (April 21, 2026) —Emergency responders from the Detroit Fire Department’s Squad 4 and Detroit EMS Medic 7 were called to the intersection of Grand River Avenue and West Grand Boulevard on Tuesday, April 21.
A serious accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian took place at the refered interesection and left one person fighting for their life.
First responders arrived at a dire scene where they found the pedestrian in cardiac arrest following the impact. Paramedics immediately began life-saving measures on-site before rushing the patient to Henry Ford Hospital. Their current state has not been shared.
A police investigation remains ongoing.
