Detroit, MI (September 2, 2026) – A fatal vehicle-versus-bicycle crash was reported on Wednesday, September 2, at 6331 E Jefferson in Detroit.
Emergency crews were initially dispatched around 11:21 a.m. for a report of a person who had fallen from a bicycle and was unresponsive. The call was later updated to indicate that a vehicle and bicycle were involved.
By 12:21 p.m., evidence technicians were dispatched to process the crash scene as part of the fatal crash investigation. Additional information about the bicyclist and the circumstances leading to the collision was not immediately available.
